Still Here—and Making the Most of It - You Can Too!

Research indicates that three things help survive life-threatening illness and add provide longevity:

  1. A fighting spirit. Wanting to squeeze the juice out of life.
  2. A willingness to learn and change.
  3. Spiritual resourcefulness.

Perhaps the greatest lesson is this: living longer is not simply about adding days to our lives. It is about finding reasons to live those days with purpose.

A fighting spirit says, “I’m not finished.”
A willingness to learn says, “I can still grow.”
Spiritual resourcefulness says, “I don't have to face this alone.”

And together, these three attitudes can help us face whatever years remain with courage, curiosity, and faith.
